Since 1996Swedish supportServers in Sweden

These are the general terms and conditions that applied from 2021-12-15 and were replaced on 2025-09-17. They are kept here as a reference for agreements entered into during that period. Current terms and conditions can be found here.

General terms and conditions

These terms applied from 2021-12-15 and have been replaced by the terms dated 2025-09-17.

These terms govern agreements between the customer ("the customer") and Admax Hosting AB (556605-3764), referred to below as "Admax". The terms apply from 2021-12-15.

By using Admax services, you agree to these general terms and conditions. The terms affect your rights and obligations. If you do not accept them, you should not use our services.

1. General

These terms govern the relationship between the customer and Admax, and where applicable Admax's subcontractors. They cover web hosting, domain services, server services, and add-on services.

Customers may be natural persons or legal entities. Natural persons must be of legal age. Representatives of legal entities must be authorised to enter into agreements.

The customer may not transfer the agreement to a third party without Admax's consent. Admax reserves the right to engage and change subcontractors, and to transfer agreements to partners in order to maintain service functionality.

Admax delivers services as soon as possible, normally immediately upon ordering via the customer portal or within one business day. Physical products are delivered within five (5) business days.

2. Web hosting, server, and domain services

The services included are set out in the order confirmation, invoice, or customer portal.

Free support is included throughout the agreement period via email, chat, support tickets, and telephone (010-641 29 00, weekdays 09:00–17:00). Support covers questions directly related to the service. Programming assistance or customisations not specific to Admax are not included.

Support time is limited to 1 hour per year for personal subscriptions and 2 hours per year for business subscriptions. Beyond this, the current hourly rate applies (currently SEK 980/hour excl. VAT, minimum charge 0.5 hours).

"Unlimited" means without a fixed quota, but within reasonable technical limits. Admax determines what is reasonable on a case-by-case basis.

When migrating a domain, website, or other service from another provider, Admax may assist. Migration cannot be guaranteed. For extensive migrations, additional charges may apply by agreement. A failed migration is the customer's responsibility.

3. Agreement term and termination

The agreement runs until further notice or on an annual basis, as agreed.

The customer may cancel the agreement at any time; cancellation takes effect from the next agreement period. Fees paid are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed. Cancellation can be made via the customer portal, by email, or by post.

In the event of serious service disruptions for which Admax is responsible, a proportional refund may be issued. Admax may terminate the agreement if the customer breaches its terms. Written termination is considered served after three (3) business days by post, or two (2) business days by email. In cases of serious misuse, termination may take effect immediately.

4. Payment and fees

Fees are invoiced in advance unless otherwise agreed. Services are activated only after payment. Payment via Bankgiro takes 1–2 business days; please pay in good time when renewing to avoid interruptions.

Unpaid services will be suspended after a reminder. Unpaid invoices may result in the suspension of other services as well. In the event of non-payment, invoices are normally cancelled and services are terminated. Customer data is deleted 14 days after the due date.

Admax may adjust prices ahead of a new agreement period. Domains are registered in the customer's name but invoiced by Admax. Any fees payable to registries in connection with transfers or changes of ownership are the customer's responsibility.

Late payment may result in a domain name expiring. Additional charges from registries will be passed on to the customer.

Payment can be made via Bankgiro, bank transfer, Stripe, or PayPal.

5. Transfer of agreement and domain

Agreements may only be transferred with written consent from Admax. For domain transfers, the customer must provide details via a support ticket. A form must be signed by the current owner. A fee may apply depending on the top-level domain.

6. Admax's liability

Admax is not responsible for content stored or published via the customer's subscription. For technical reasons, Admax may access information during troubleshooting. Admax is not liable for damages, losses, or infringements beyond our control, unless otherwise required by Swedish law.

Customer data is deleted 14 days after the agreement is terminated. Admax handles customer data confidentially. Information may only be disclosed when required by law or in cases of suspected criminal activity.

Admax guarantees 99% availability per month. Planned maintenance during night-time hours (23:00–06:00) and urgent security measures do not count as service disruptions. In the event of insufficient availability, compensation is given in the form of an extended subscription (1–3 months depending on the level). Claims must be submitted within 14 days.

7. Customer's responsibilities

The customer must comply with Swedish law and may not use the services for unlawful purposes. The customer is responsible for everything that takes place via their account, including email and published content. Spam is prohibited.

The customer may not sublease or resell storage space or services to third parties without a specific agreement. Separate reseller accounts are available for this purpose.

8. Acceptable use policy

Admax does not condone irresponsible use of the internet and reserves the right to assess usage against these terms. In the event of violations, content may be blocked or the account closed without a refund.

A web hosting subscription entitles the customer to publish content via HTTP/FTP. Published web pages must clearly identify the responsible individual or organisation.

The customer may engage a third party for management or updates, but remains responsible to Admax at all times.

9. Distance contracts

Under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (2005:59), a 14-day right of withdrawal applies. By ordering and having the service activated within this period, the customer consents to the right of withdrawal lapsing.

10. Privacy and data protection (GDPR)

Admax's privacy and data protection policy forms part of these terms. The customer is responsible for any personal data they process through the service. A standard data processing agreement is included. If a specific agreement is required, additional charges may apply.

11. Force majeure

Admax is relieved of liability if performance is prevented by circumstances beyond our control, such as war, government action, labour disputes, natural events, or failure of supply.

12. Disputes

Any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of the agreement shall be settled by a Swedish court under Swedish law, preferably the Stockholm District Court.
