- Keep your website up to date
If you're running a CMS such as Joomla or WordPress, make sure you're on the latest version. This applies to plugins, components, modules, and the CMS itself. If a plugin, module, or component is no longer being maintained by its developer, you should find an actively maintained alternative and switch to it.
