If you have received warnings about resource limits on your web hosting account, it's important to take action. An account that uses too many resources may have its performance throttled or be suspended entirely.

If you've seen a noticeable increase in traffic to your website, this warning may be completely normal. However, if you're not aware of any reason for it, you should review your website — check the code, update themes and plugins, and make sure the site hasn't been compromised. Taking these proactive steps is essential to avoid any disruption to your service.

Below is an example of the notification our server may send you:

"Your web hosting account for mittfinaforetag.se has used more resources than your plan includes over the past 7 days.
You reached the maximum limit of 100.0 of the server's total CPU usage 480 times, causing the website to load more slowly in order to reduce the load.
"

If you've received this warning multiple times and know it's due to increased traffic, upgrading your web hosting account may be necessary. We've put together an overview of our web hosting packages here.
