If you use Joomla as your CMS, the session table can sometimes crash and cause your website to display an error similar to:
jtablesession::Store Failed
DB function failed with error number 145
Table './"customer_number_database"/jos153_session' is marked as crashed and should be repaired
This is easy to fix by following these steps:
- Log in to phpMyAdmin.
- Once logged in, select the relevant database in the left-hand panel.
- After clicking the database, you will see a list of all tables. At the bottom of the list, click "Select all".
- Then, in the "With selected" dropdown menu, choose "Repair table".
- Wait until phpMyAdmin confirms the operation completed successfully.
- That's it — your site should now be working again. Remember to log out of phpMyAdmin when you're done.
