Email health check
A full health check for your domain's email: MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MTA-STS and BIMI all at once.
About this tool
The email check reviews the DNS records that determine whether your domain's email gets delivered and whether others can spoof it. You'll receive a score and a result per check, shown in green, yellow, or red.
MX tells other servers where to deliver email for your domain. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC prove to recipients that email from your domain is genuine. Without them, your email is more likely to end up in spam — and fraudsters can send messages in your name. MTA-STS and BIMI are optional extras and do not affect the score.
Click a row to open the tool for that specific check. There you can see the full record and what each part means.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my email ending up in spam?
The most common reason is that SPF, DKIM, or DMARC is missing or misconfigured. Without them, recipients can't verify that the email actually came from you. Start by fixing the red rows in the check.
Do I need all three: SPF, DKIM, and DMARC?
Yes, if you want your email to be delivered reliably. Gmail and Yahoo require SPF or DKIM from all senders, and all three from high-volume senders.
Why isn't my DKIM key being found?
The check tries the most common selectors. If your email service uses a different name, the key won't appear here. Open the DKIM check and enter the selector manually — you'll find it after s= in the DKIM-Signature header.
Can Admax set up the records for me?
If your DNS is with Admax, the Domain Assistant in the customer portal can add SPF, DKIM and DMARC records for you. You approve each change before it is saved.
