Blacklist check
Check whether an IP address or a domain's email servers appear on known spam blacklists.
About this tool
Blacklists (DNSBLs) collect IP addresses that have sent spam. Many email servers query them before accepting a message, and reject or filter out email from listed addresses.
Enter an IPv4 address or a domain name. For a domain, the tool checks the web server's address and the addresses of the email servers in MX, up to four addresses in total. Each address is checked against seven blacklists.
Listed means the address currently appears on that list. Could not be checked means the list did not respond or does not allow our query — not that the address is listed. Follow the link to the list to see the reason and how to request removal.
Frequently asked questions
Why is my address blacklisted?
Usually an account or device using the address has sent spam — for example after a password was stolen. Sometimes entire networks are listed because other customers on them have sent spam.
How do I get the address removed from a blacklist?
First fix the underlying cause, otherwise the address will be listed again. Then request removal via the list's website. Many lists remove the address automatically after a while.
My email is hosted at Admax and the server is listed. What should I do?
Contact our support team via the customer portal and we'll help you with the removal.
